Existing Users

NCI is spending a great deal of effort enhancing our products.  If you're an existing user of NCI's products, you may not be aware of all the new features and products we have to offer.

NonStop X

All products are now natively supported on the x86 based NonStop hardware and associated operating systems.
If you are upgrading your systems and want more information,
contact Network Concepts Inc.

Control

We've met clients at trade shows who've had CONTROL embedded in their procedures so long, they had no idea of the changes we've made.  Just a small list of features that you might not be aware of:

  • Auditing
  • Advanced Security
  • Large File Support
  • Branching & Merging
  • VPROC support
  • VPROC support for COBOL
  • User Keywords
  • Version Search Settings
  • Improved COBOL dependency searching
  • Hard & soft system release locking

nciGENESIS

Some of you may be using CONTROL to directly compile individual programs but would like something that is capable of completely building an entire project or system.  This is the tool for you.  A kind of Super-Make, this tool can analyze your sources and ensure you have all the matching components in place.  Then it uses rules to do parallel compilation and building.  It's a fast and reliable way to do all your production and development builds.

CONTROL-CS

Some long time users of CONTROL are completely unaware of this product, yet it's now the premier product in our lineup.

CS is a Windows™ based Visual Control that enables team development and cross-platform work.
It attaches to your existing Control Archive, but allows you to work anywhere.  It's far easier and more powerful than the command line version.

Send us an email if you'd like to try it out for yourself.

CLCS

Are you building systems on Non NSK platforms?  Use CLCS to easily extract all your sources from CONTROL archives before building.  CLCS can ensure you have all the matching versions in seconds.

Future Improvements

Are you aware that nearly 1/2 of all the new features and improvements we add are due to user requests?

NCI is constantly looking for ways to improve the usability of our tools.

We use our own products in-house and as a result some changes make our own use better. We also encourage you to contact us if there you have an idea that applies to our product customer base and goals.
